Statement

Charlotte’s sculptural work challenges women’s assigned roles by using traditional feminine crafts to reclaim and break the expected attractiveness, approachability, and polish. Intestines are animated as the self that occupies vulnerable spaces where one can be seen and comfortable or invisible and fearful.

Charlotte’s 2D work is inspired by dreams and her creative writing practice with a focus on the uncanny.
